A delicious, fruit forward coffee. Santa Barbara Estate is an award-winning farm high in the Andes Mountains in Fredonia, Antioquia. Santa Barbara was founded by Pedro Echavarria over 40 years ago. The Echavarria family has been in coffee for many generations and has become a pioneer in Colombian coffee with a vertically integrated farm, dry mill and export operations. We first traveled to Santa Barbara in 2018 to secure a long-term relationship for offering this naturally processed microlot.
The combination of high altitude, volcanic soil, and growing expertise results in one of Colombia's best natural process coffees. This special lot is shade grown with a 20 year reforestation program to replant native trees in the farm.

Jade has been a labor of love at Magnolia Coffee. We designed Jade to be a versatile espresso that is great on its own and delicately shines through in milk. This is an exceptional espresso. Also makes a really nice cup of drip coffee and we use it for our award-winning cold brew. Rated 94 points by Coffee Review (Jan 2018).

We recommend a 1:2 coffee to water ratio for espresso. Our cafe partners dose 18 grams Jade to extract 36 grams espresso in 30 seconds for the sweet spot.
