About the farm producer:
La Josefina Estate is 80 acre farm in El Chaco canton, Parroquia Santa Rosa, Napo Province in Ecuador. Producer Leopoldo Andrade is a coffee pioneer as the first coffee farmer in the area. Their farm is in an ecological reserve called Coca Cayambe. Volcanic ashes from Reventador Mountain provide rich soil and nutrients which add to the exceptional growing climate. Next to the farm there is a small town named Cascabel that has a population of just 150 people.
